The Sanātana Dharma, the Sacred Science, is arcane and impalpable knowledge. ‘Unlike other sciences, this one can in no way be communicated by means of words, but but after long association... suddenly a light, as it were, is kindled in one mind by a flame that leaps to it from another, and thereafter sustains itself’, as Plato says in the Seventh Letter.
The nature of mind, upon which the simulacrum of the I — the totem of Western thought — is grafted, cannot be grasped by reading texts or by speculating about esoteric philosophy: it must be experienced directly, otherwise the thinker remains trapped in a vicious circle. If the aim is to transcend representation, it cannot be attained while remaining confined within representational thought.
For this reason the revealed texts speak in images. Not as ‘symbols’ to be deciphered — for symbols are but representations, and to think in symbols is still to remain bound within discursive thought — but as operative images, capable of awakening the recognition of states already traversed. The Sacred Science discloses itself through images: from the Ṛgveda to Renaissance alchemy, from the sacred scriptures to the Tantras, whether painted or spoken, they are ever vehicles of direct vision.
Even the short videos gathered here may radiate the true science: do not seek to understand them rationally, but let the images evoke transformations.
